Financing & Payment Options
Our patients at Skyline LASIK agree that clear vision is priceless. While we view LASIK, EVO ICL™ and other vision correction procedures as a wise long-term investment in visual freedom, we also understand that it’s just that: an investment. To help make premium vision correction an option for more of our patients, we offer a number of payment and financing options.
Payment Options at Skyline LASIK
We accept most forms of payment and offer a discount to our patients who pay for their vision correction procedure using cash, cashier’s check, or money order.
No-Interest Financing with CareCredit®
We work with CareCredit, a reputable medical lending company, to offer flexible financing options to our vision correction patients. Patients who finance their vision correction surgery over 6, 12, or 18 months pay 0% interest. For those who prefer a longer payment period, we offer 24- and 36-month options with a reduced Annual Percentage Rate (APR).
Is LASIK Covered by Insurance?
LASIK and other vision correction procedures are not considered to be medically necessary, which means they are typically not covered by medical insurance or vision insurance plans.
Using FSA & HSA Funds for LASIK
While LASIK and other elective vision correction procedures are rarely covered by insurance, it is possible to use funds from a medical spending account to help cover out-of-pocket costs. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) are employer-sponsored, tax-deferred funds specifically designated for healthcare costs. And remember, if you don’t use these funds within a certain period of time, they don’t roll over–so LASIK is a great way to use them before you lose them.
